Samsung will bring the family tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 measuring 7 inches and 10.1 inches in Indonesia on 28 April 2012. Both of these tablets can be used to make/receive phone calls and send/receive SMS.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 was launched simultaneously in 18 major cities, Indonesia. And specially in Jakarta, the launch of the tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will be held at Senayan City. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is present on the Android platform 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), 1GHz Dual Core processor, HSPA + 21 Mbps 850/900/1900/2100, connectivity includes Bluetooth 3.0, USB 2.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, the memory 16 gigabyte (GB), Face Reconigtion/Unlocked, real-time video editing as well as the experience of GMS (Google Mobile Service) is advanced.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 have 7 inch size, have the 1024x600 pixel TFT, with 4000 mAh capacity lithium battery, while the sailing product 1280x800 px 10.1-inch TFT display and 7000 mAh battery capacity. In its latest product [Samsung Galaxy Tab 2], Samsung did increase in some services such as providing some local content embedded in the tablet, such as service eReading, songs, and Lubitu (Video on Demand).

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is sold at Rp 3,999,999. Samsung has not provided information about when the Galaxy Tab 2, 10 inches will be present in Indonesia. But the price will be under $ 5 million.
