Samsung Will Reduce Production Smartphone 2016?
Seeing these conditions, several smartphone vendors also called started to change sales strategy. One was made by Samsung. The South Korean company reportedly will reduce sales of its smartphones in the next year.
This information was first known from Korea Times some time ago. Citing information from the page Ubergizmo, Saturday (12/26/2015), based on information from partners and local sellers, Samsung reportedly will reduce its smartphone shipments to 12 percent in 2016.
It is further mentioned that this reduction is done to adapt to market needs. And instead caused over declining sales of Samsung smartphones.
With a plan to reduce shipments of smartphones, Samsung will only produce about 420 to 430 million devices next year.
This amount is not so big. But some analysts cutting production costs by nearly 12 percent could allow Samsung to focus more on the production of smartphones that do have a high demand in the market.
This is in line with reports from research institutions Bernstein Research found that Samsung's smartphone sales medium, series A and series J, recorded remarkable growth. Whereas before, the secondary devices from Samsung undoubtedly be able to compete in the marketplace.
The news of the reduction of the Samsung smartphone shipments and production had been rumored since a few months ago. Previously, Samsung is also rumored to be reducing the order component of the smartphone until the first quarter of 2016.
